A Little Time Off

Hey Everybody!!

So, right after our fabulous tour with our new best friends, The Medic Droid and A Cursive Memory, we got to have a little time off, about 3 1/2 weeks. This is the first time we've been off since about September. It's been so awesome so far. I decided to update the journal and tell you guys a little bit of the stuff I've been doing since we've been home. I come from a big Italian family, kinda like that movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" just its "My Big Fat Everyday Italian Lifestyle" haha. When I get home from tour my family is usually always at my house, and I don't mean my direct family, I mean my extended family. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, all there to welcome me home and shovel as much food down my throat as I'll allow. It's always the same too, "oh Justin, you look like a stick bug, did you eat on tour!?!". So, they all welcomed me home with a big dinner, it was very nice. OHHHH and this is funny, they all found out that The Morning Of has ringtones now, so everytime one of them would get a call I'd hear "Lord get me outta this city tonight..." hahaha. Even tho I'm making fun of them, I love my family and I feel completely blessed to have them in my life.

I decided that since I'd be home for a little I shouldn't be lazy and I should work. My brother Gregg, works a title insurance agency called Land Guard Title, so I started working there. My boss's there were named Lou and Kevin, and I worked with my brother Gregg, this dude named Matt, and these 3 beautiful women named Sam, Leslie, and Tina. This office is exactly like the show The Office, haha. Everyone has such a funny personality and it's just always such a fun place to work. I spent 2 weeks there and it was a blast.

My best friends and I invented a game called Sockey. haha, its a mixture of Hockey and Soccer. We take a soccer ball and we play soccer on a street hockey rink. It is extremely fun and crazy, its fast paced and it can get a little violent. We've been playing almost everynight. One thing is for sure, the Agresta brothers bring it. Oh and theres another thing thats for sure, Prescott is a ball hog. One night we were playing and these hockey players tried to tell us to leave. When we didn't, they called the Park's and Rec's lady on us, she came out on the rink while we were playing and she grabbed our ball and PUNTED it into the woods!!! After we disposed of her body..(just kidding!) we left and 18 cops stopped us! Yes, I didn't make a typo, 18 cops stopped us. They told us it's a hockey rink not a Sockey rink and that we must give it up to hockey dudes when they need it. Go figure, good clean fun being hated on by the local fuzz.

I've also been making up for lost time with my wonderful girlfriend. It's so nice to have more then a couple days here and there to just relax and cuddle and watch Seinfeld together. She cooks for me too. She is wondeeeeeeeeeerful.

just wanna say hello to everybody...im sorry ive been slacking with this so im gonna say a few words of wisdom..hehe well not really but i posted some new pics of myself and various others from our most current tour with Farewell-Jetlag Gemini-Kenotia
ive had a blast and i know my band would agree. def try to check them out if u can. last night we had this huge shaving cream war bc me and footy(merch guy from there for tommorrow) got farewell van good with loads of shaving cream.......a little bit of alcohol mixed with craziness = u guessed it.........Chaos...hehe, it was all good though....i didnt get ne good pics of that bc we were so covered in shaving cream...but if i do get one..ill post it ASAP! till then...check out the pics i posted whenever u can...

I never slept with Seattle

Home sick boys write sordid sonnets in organic recycled journals in the back of dark venues in the seediest part of the city.

This is my first tour update. I'm sorry. This is our first time on the west coast!!! You'd think I'd be writing everyday and posting all the awesome pictures we've been taking. I think we're all wrapped up in the experience. This tour's been so cool, we've made some amazing new friends!!! And we can't wait to make more, and see some of our old friends! All the bands are amazing too! Make sure you check em all out, Kenotia, Zolof the rock and roll Destroyer and Jet Lag Gemini! But I promise you'll all get some updates...even if its in creepy nonsensical poetic form. These are just random thoughts, that I write in my little organic recycled journal<3.

This is my day when I'm home :)

Hey, It's abir! Okay, so I had this idea. We leave for tour Friday, and we won't be home too much this year, with our record coming out and all, gotta be on tour promoting it!! So I decided to fill you in on what a day of mine is like when I'm home :). I'm gonna do some more of these "photojournals" on tour too.

After I watched Seinfeld with my little sister we played some games online and then she had to go to bed.

BUMMED

I'm bummed. so bummed. I just dyed my hair. I waited for the dye to sit in my hair. My hair soaked up the "color". The suspense was killing my insides (and scalp!! it was burning!!) ! and when I got to rinse it and dry it, there was the same old boring hair i had an hour before!! what the heck!! 6 bucks wasted.. I could've gotten a nice fried rice and chicken and brocoli with that! wait. How do you spell brocoli? is that right? eh whatever. I'm grumpy.

I saw JUNO today. My heart! it beats! it beats! for Michael Cera <33 haaave merrrcy. I can't get enough. and Ellen Page, she's so awesome. It was really a good movie. There should be more movies like that one. I've always wanted to be in a movie (but really who hasn't?). I pictured myself playing a role like hers. Being 16 and pregnant and not to mention so damn fly. I would fail miserably at that. Love scenes make me blush when I watch them! I could never do it for the big screen!! haha Gahh, I'm such a 5 year old. Oh well. So be it. Because someday Me and michael will run away together and have our own private love scene. I can see it now...
