I could use some smoke right now, to aid in this getaway
This new year's twilight is making it hard to hide
Young and restless lover's bathing in the moonlight
With more regard for the heaven's than this celestial body unknowingly attached to this playground of a planet
But that seems so far away
I swear she came to me in my dreams last night. Can angels rewind time?
To a period before they've fallen.
The sun was warm where she took me, in the middle of January.
As we laid upon the sand, with our love laid bare for all to see in this paradise land
But morning scared her off. Now i turn to my tears for company.
There are photographs and friends I've made, who keep me going.
But who will believe that my once great love, knew my window was unlocked for her each night
And she floated in from above, and took me to where I wish I could stay in ignorance and bliss
Its been 3 months, has the fire left your heart? Your eyes look empty now. I'm shaken and confused.
I ran short on courage sometime ago
And this hunger rages on inside me
As I paint this city I call home in love and regret

I woke up this morning, reallly early. And some things kinda hit me hard, that i was able to ignore over the holiday season.
So i just figured I'd spill my thoughts.
